In Hex, you play as a lowly demon, a mere succubus, who manages to possess the body of a powerful mage. However, the body’s former soul still clings to the vessel, threatening to bend the succubus to her will instead. But things aren’t exactly as they seem, and the two souls will be forced to make the most of their unwitting partnership if they are to survive. Oh, and thanks to being a succubus you have to fuck to regenerate MP!
Gameplay and Features
Hex is an erotic visual novel and text-based game with RPG, sandbox, and simulation elements. The game features the following major features:
- Fight with an arsenal of spells. Fight enemies by using a variety of interesting spells with unique effects in dynamic and deep turn-based battles. Spells can also be used to solve various problems outside of combat.
- Fuck and flirt with everyone. Have tons of hot sex with a variety of NPCs in a variety of different ways, both to restore magical energy, to earn money as a prostitute, or just to watch your "roommate" squirm.
- Explore a reactive world. NPCs will react to your reputation, your state of dress, and your level of hygiene. The weather, time of day, and even the moon will influence the power of your spells. Your actions and decisions will be reflected in the story and world around you.
- Create and share servants online for fun and profit. The game features an asynchronous online multiplayer system where players can create and customize NPC servants that will visit other players online to engage in business and pleasure.
Fetishes and Kinks in Hex
Hex features a variety of kinks and fetishes, with many more planned to be included in the future. The main focus of the game is exhibitionism and voyeurism as well as corruption mostly in regard to the second soul the protagonist shares a body with.
The game also includes (or is planned to include) the following:
- vaginal, anal, and oral sex
- foot fetish content
- lesbian sex
- gangbang and group sex content*
- watersports
- bukkake and cum play
* Not available in the current version.
Most of the content enumerated above is optional or can be avoided! The game also features a yuri mode that allows players to ignore and avoid almost all straight content!

how can i play this in multiplayer or is that tag wrong?
It’s asynchronous, indirect multiplayer but the classification here on itch is too limited to represent that properly. I chose the classification I believe best reflects the game’s multiplayer.
You can’t directly play like a two-player mode, though. Instead, players create custom NPC servants that can visit other players’ games to sell things and have sex with them.
I'm playing the web version on mobile, and for some reason spirit deflection is impossible, no matter how much I mash. Do I need to mash a specific place on the screen?
EDIT: Nvm, I was using the "hold instead of mashing" setting, and it apparently doesn't work for spirit deflections

I can't seem to accomplish the goal to give birth in public. I've given birth in the village with people around commenting on it, but it didn't achieve the goal. Is there something specific that I need to do and didn't or is the goal bugged?
how did you give birth? Ive been trying for the longest while and ive got everything i need and ive double checked aswell
After a while of just doing whatever I got a message that it was time to give birth, and that you might want to go to the chapel or the throne dimension place. Go to either location and there's just straight up an option you can select to give birth. To give birth somewhere else seems to be harder to do. I've spent a LONG time just saying "explore" to pass time in the city and not given birth. But I've also just gotten the message that I'm ready to give birth, traveled to the village, and then immediately given birth. It seems like the village is just easier to trigger the give birth cutscene for some reason. But, again, if you're not looking for the give birth in public accomplishment then just go to the chapel or throne place and select give birth. If you're pregnant and not getting the message that you're ready to give birth then I don't know how to help you. It's happened to me when I travel or say "explore" basically wherever I go. I don't think I've ever gotten it sleeping or doing prostitution or the like, so maybe just limit yourself to passing time via explore and travel?

I also can't get the accomplishments for taking certain people on dates to certain places to show as having been completed. I made sure to not just take the correct person to the correct place, but I did it again to see the shorter version of the date, and the accomplishment still didn't pop.

I would check the status menu (hotkey: A) to make sure you really aren’t pregnant, and also to make sure you are indeed fertile.
yea, it just shows that iris if fertile, no signs of pregnancy.
plus i made sure and got all the skills for the chances ofpregnancy to be higher, i also have master at footjobs, anal, vaginal and blowjobs just to prove how much sex im having while fertile

Both spots? If you’re referring to anal pregnancy that’s not a feature in this game (at least not yet). But if it were, you’d still only be able to do one pregnancy at a time.

I tried to play the game and wanted to use the new code posted too but got a please update this game message. I thought the game automatically updated? how do I fix that? Cannot find an actual way to do it.
Only the web version updates automatically. If you’re using the browser or windows version you have to download the new version. I can sometimes push small new updates or live events from the server, but I still need to update the client from time to time. Just download the game again to update it, all your settings and saves should carry over if you’re on the same system.

Rot will be the aura for the “curse” school of magic. It’s not in the game yet but it is planned. It’s actually one of the first magic schools I conceived of so that’s why rot has so many interactions already despite not being available to the player.
A school empowered by the sun is an interesting idea. Earth magic could be cool too.
i don't seem to have puff puff at all? it was there in the alpha, i can buy "puff puff pro", but don't see the skill anywhere, and you don't write about it on the wiki.

just curious, what is the difference between regular edition, silver and Gold? is it just a release time difference or is the content in each edition different?

Basically the premium editions get updates in between major updates, they get early access to major updates, and they get bonus cosmetics. The Gold edition specifically also receives access to the offering box, which gives various bonus items and outfits for free.
But all story and erotic content will eventually come to the free edition.

You can use the save to/load from disk option in the save menu (hotkey: Q) to create a save file and load it into the new build. Note that this isn’t an export/import option; you need to load a save you want to transfer, then save to disk.

I’m not sure. The browser/web versions will work with your browser’s translation tools. As for official translations…we’re a very long way off from that happening.

Is there a keyboard shortcut for the counterspell symbols? I'm on a laptop using a touchpad and it's basically impossible to counter any spells.

I use NWjs for the browser shell. Not electron. Watersports should be almost entirely ignorable. If you don’t pee or cast the pee spell on others, it should never really come up.

Hex is neither a prequel or sequel to Succubus Stories. It takes place in a separate world and there are no direct connections between the games.

I’m working on am Android port for SS. That will come out sometime in 2026. After that, I may make on one for Hex, too, depending on how it goes. That said, note that the web build is mobile friendly and the browser build works with JoiPlay, so you can play on Android right now pretty easily.

How long does it take for the Patreon ver be public ver?
The Patreon version gets smaller updates between major updates, then the major updates are exclusive for one week.
Counterspell feels very much like it was designed for a touchscreen and not K&M. I cannot do a 5 part counterspell, period, and 4 parts are very hard. I've tuned my mouse sensitivity as best as I can and its just not possible
It is intended to be more challenging than the other defenses, but I am making some changes. In the current Patreon version the interaction now respects easy mode, and I also adjusted the timing a bit across the board. I also intend to add keyboard bindings for it, that’ll likely be in the next free release. I am able to do it on K&M but I made the game so I’m a poor judge of how hard or easy anything is, and many people have complained about it, so it’s definitely too hard.
I cannot thank you enough for adding a Yuri mode. Quite honestly, the sight of dicks is a huge turnoff for me, so adding the option to turn off all straight content is such a nice change. I think you should add more scenes and poses for Yuri content, and maybe even remove the anal, vaginal, and oral goals so Yuri mode players have a way to get the SP. You don't have to do this, because I already really appreciate that you added the mode.
I can definitely refine it and improve it in the future. Addressing the SP disparity is probably a good idea, but as the game matures and more and more goals get added, the amount of SP you miss in yuri mode will become less and less of a big deal, so it might just work itself out in the long run, but I’ll think about it. Adding more CGs is likely for all encounter types, including lesbian content. I also plan to add more encounter types, some of which will be lesbian or have lesbian only versions. For example, I plan to add a soap-land style “massage” encounter, which will have a lesbian version.

Yeah, it probably will. I don’t have any solid plans for bringing it to Steam at this time, but I’ll probably bring it to Steam once it’s done, or I may even do EA if I think the game is ready for it and I feel like I can do it in a way that’s fair to my patrons and free players. Are there any plan for more Melia corruption too in the future? Even after getting pretty high sex stats, she still question Iris actions, i wish she could get a little more lewd with the more sex stats you got.
This is planned, and there are some subtle effects right now, though Meila’s invisible corruption meter is it’s own value and not connected to your sex skill. She’ll probably always be a tsundere about it, but I do plan for her reactions to change more substantially over time from disgusted to nonchalant to (eventually) begrudgingly interested.

What does “less heavy” mean in this context? The same amount of content is in the hosted, downloadable browser, and windows versions for both games, though the Windows versions of Hex are the only ones with 4k art assets.
windows is 1GB while browser is 445MB
Ah, yeah that’s just cause the game needs a wrapper to run in without the browser. That extra fiel size is just the shell the game runs in. It’s sort of like a little stripped down mini web browser that’s dedicated just to running a single web app. Also with Hex there are additionally 4k assets only in the windows version.
