I have a pretty big issue with the game's combat. Not only is what you need to press to guard ever mentioned as far as I know, there is no way to practice with the sync options. The one time I was able to get the stupid thing to work was during the event when you need to guard a villager from a bandit's attack.
I plan to add a feature where you can practice deflecting (and other defenses) in the throne realm. There’s also some stutter caused by the animation loading for the first time (or after a while has passed since you’ve last used deflection) I’m working on fixing. Please also note that you can deflect early in exchange for additional MP.
You click/tap the screen or press Space to activate the deflection. This is explained in a tutorial.
Hey, thanks for the nice game. I came over from succubus stories. If I had to choose, I liked the artist doing ss more, but this style isn't bad too.
About this one I like the deeper sex mechanics, magic is cool, and combat teasing is pretty hot and fun. But with only black and lunar magic afterglow aura is pretty redundant; you just spam wound stacks so enemy defense is kekw anyway. Hope the other magics and enemy stats make lust and madness more important, and wounds less of a universal steamroller.
Maybe fights with 2 enemies could make it viable, if you care to write that in? If not, it's enemy skills and resistances I guess.
The most unbalanced thing right now is kinesis stacks though. It just gives too much MP. By the time I could buy it I had tons of semen bottles in stock, and the kinesis gives more than black spells cost, so wounds are 100% free.
Looking very good for a free game, have fun with it.
Thank you for the feedback! Balance is definitely an ongoing process. I do want to err on the side of making things easy, but wounds may be too strong, kinesis too. I’ll look into this. I have no plans to include anything other than one-on-one fights at this time. But madness and lust will become important for dealing with enemies who can use spells, since only physical attacks can be deflected.
Flawless victory doesn’t effect every battle in the game (outside bonus XP & G), only in some boss fights does it have story relevance. It’s usually always mentioned in the immediate aftermath of a battle, though.
Also, there will be a spell counter system, though I plan to make it harder to get perfect counters than perfect deflections, but I don’t plan to introduce spell counters until a little later in the game, so there will be sometime where your best bet for a flawless will be to use madness or lust (or both) and, if necessary, save scum. It is luck based, but I also think it’s contingent on efficiently building up auras. As the game evolves, I hope consumables and additional types of equipment will also be able to contribute to these strategies.
The scene immediately following the fight is slightly different and it will probably be referenced again at some point, but I don’t think I plan to do anything else because of how hard and luck-based that flawless is.
This game is fucking incredible id recommend adding a few more soft core encounters (like jerking people off) and maybe a love interest like in SS. other than that this game is fucking incredible especially for a game this early in development.
Thank you for the kind words! Softer stuff like a handjob could be fun and interesting. As for love interests, I do plan to have a cast of characters that I’ll introduce over time for the player to befriend and romance! Hopefully in a more open and dynamic way than SS, too.
I haven't played the game but judging by the screenshots it looks like you're getting fucked by the IRIS, is this like a metaphor for life or something (skull emoji signifying i'm dead but I’m not actually dead it’s a metaphor indicating I’m laughing so hard I’m losing oxygen which could eventually lead to death)
For an alpha build, this is very well polished. I feel like maybe the menuing could use some work? It's a little confusing to navigate at first, but other than that (and how short it currently is) it really doesn't feel like an alpha game. Very good first build, and I'm excited for the next update

haven't even gotten too far in but I'm really enjoying it I like how you kept game elements from Succubus Stories but then made a whole different story and encounter system.
:) I’m glad you’re enjoying the game. While it’s not a sequel per se, this game will be something of a spiritual successor to SS, and I hope to bring the lessons I’ve learned from making that game forward into something new.

Why not block magic with magic?

Out of curiosity, is there anything special for getting a flawless victory against Gemma?

The web version is mobile friendly and if you need to play offline you can use JoiPlay on android with the offline browser version.
