I don't have the "transformer; make some changes, weird changes" achievement unlocked and no matter what I do (that I think is related) I fail to unlock it. I tried using vicis on my opponent during a combat encounter and I have tried to use it on both male and female after the chitchat option. I think that's how that place was called) it was a choice between gemma and lem, and I choose gemma. (Correct me If I am wrong)

For Lem, you can do both of them, it’s not an either or choice, instead its in case you don’t want to do one you don’t have to. However, you don’t get the opportunity to “go all the way” with him there in Ivald. Once you return to the city, Lem and Gemma will regularly appear in the inn. Lem can appear at either afternoon or evening everyday, one or the other. Once there, you can talk to him. Depending on how your choices in Ivald went, you may be able to get enough reputation together to invite him upstairs. If so, you can have non-penetrative sex with him a few times, then eventually penetrative sex.
If you exhaust all his dialogue (including his reaction to you being naked) and don’t get the option to go upstairs with him, you’ll have to wait until the next version. There are limited amounts of reputation you can earn outside of quests. That said, you aren’t missing much, I plan to implement NPC personalities into the encounter system, but I haven’t yet, so sex with Lem is just a normal NPC sex encounter right now. That’s why I really only left juuuust enough rep opportunities to barely unlock it, since its not that impressive yet.

It’s not finished yet and its slow burn, but once you unlock the throne realm, if you’re nice enough to her and she gets lewd enough, you can start cuddling with her. Once you complete the quest [Holy Magic Arc: Mistress of Calamity] you can start kissing her in the throne realm, and eventually you can also unlock some foot play. I plan to add second or third-base kinda stuff in the next major update. But right now that’s it.

I seen that in the last patch/mini update? You made that achieving a flawless victory in the throne realm will get you the "defeat [boss name] flawlessly" achievement. And I realized I don't have the "kill the assassin with the bloom effect" achievement unlocked, so I proceeded to kill her and in my first try I was able to defeat her with the bloom effect being my final blow. But when I went to see if I had unlocked the achievement, I realized that it is still locked, so I tried again, and it didn't work. Hope this gets fixed soon! (Or maybe it's intentional?)

I’ve investigated this and it’s indeed a scaling issue, basically the screen’s height it too low for the game, so scaling the interface or font in the game’s settings will fix it (try small font and if that doesn’t work, try 0.5x interface scaling with large/massive font). that said, this isn’t a great user experience, and shouldn’t happen, so I’ll work on making it not happen at all on my end
Very impressed so far, but it doesn't play well on a Samsung Z Fold 4's large screen. Many of the illustrations are cut off on the right, so I don't get to see the full scene. It looks like the h scenes are focused on Meila's reactions lol. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post NSFW screenshots to show you what I mean.
I don’t have plans for a native android port at this time, but the offline browser version is compatible with the JoiPlay app for offline play.
As far as the Z fold, the game is designed with more common screen shapes in mind, I didn’t even think about folding phones. I’ll work on making the game more presentable in that format in the future! Thanks for the heads up.

Go to the throne realm and try talking to her. It might not happen the first time you do so, but you can try again later (or rest in the chapel and try again after 3 or so time periods).

And now the important part, I am playing on the web version and I am experiencing a bug that lets me buy the prostitute outfit for my attendant an infinite amount of times, its not that urgent, but I hope I helped!

You can do them both! You don’t have to choose. Are you asking if you can have sex with Lem later even if you don’t during the quest? If so, you can, but there are more limited sources of affection outside quests. Fucking him during the quest basically guarantees enough affection to at least do non-penatrative sex with him after the quest, but depending on how the quest goes, you can end up with enough affection anyway.
If you don’t get enough affection to fuck him during the quest, you will need to wait for future content to build up more. Partner personalities for sex encounter aren’t implemented yet, though, so you aren’t actually missing much unique content.
You can gain enough affection from doing non-penatrative sex with him to eventually move on to or narrative sex.
The game is only available in English, though you may be able to play the web version using your browser’s translation features. I’m not sure how good the quality would be, though.
The Viveka mantra doesn't appear to be working. I had many fights against enemies that used spells, including Astraea, and never saw anything about counterspells.
How does one achieve the Nude Beach objective? My guess was that I need to be nude when I go to the shore at the beginning of the game, but my Exhibitionism stopped rising at 105 and I still can't leave the chapel naked.
If you bathe in the lake, there’s a chance your clothes will get stolen. This is actually one of the events that unlocks nudism, so after seeing it you’ll probably be able to leave the chapel nude, ironically. Honestly, you can just spam bathing in the lake until it happens. I think it’s a 40% chance the first time it happens then a 20% chance afterward.
The web version is mobile friendly. You can also play the offline browser version on JoiPlay on Android. I have no plans for a native app version at this time.
The patron edition got some stuff, but it honestly might have been around a year for the free edition. That won’t happen again though, this is the main thing I’m working on now that SS is done!
Did you happen to hit Ctrl at any point? That toggles the text box and it sometimes makes people think the game froze. You have to hit Ctrl again to bring the textbox back and keep playing.

No. Saves should carry over automatically in every updtae assuming you play on the same system (and in the same browser in case of the web/offline browser versions). If you need to switch browsers or systems you can you the save to/load from disk feature.
Did you go to the village and see the bandits there? The first time you go to the village after claiming the chapel, there’s bandits attacking that you fight off. After you defeat them, this part of the quest is meant to be fulfilled. You may just have to start over, I’ll try to see if there’s a bug on my end.
I do. Things are only in the planning stages right now, but I plan for Iris to be able to give birth to spirits that grant various passive benefits and will live in the throne realm. They’re not going to be like children or anything. Lore-wise they’re lesser demons that are taking the opportunity to incarnate into the material world and fuck around, and they won’t be humanoid or lewdable (though you’ll probably be able to breast feed them).
Like I said, this is still in the planning stages so is subject to change and there’s no ETA, but pregnancy and birth was always something I wanted to expand from what was in SS, I just don’t want to have babies actually be in the game.
Level 6 is the current max, huh? If the cap was higher, it'd be something to do. Farming exp is a classic rpg activity, after all. It'd be funny to play through the story at level 99 because the exp bar was always 100 exp for each level up..
There’s an update coming at the end of the month. I believe the cap will be raised to 11. Maximum level in the full game will be 50, but I expect a lower level than that to be sufficient to beat the game assuming you don’t go out of your way to fight.
I am capping the level on a per-update basis just because it makes it easier to balance. That said, I don’t want to artificially limit players forever, and stat upgrades per level are subject to significant diminishing returns past level 20 or so, so once we get to around level 20 as the cap, I’ll probably just set the cap to 50.
After the cap of 50, XP is converted to SP. Like in SS, there’ll be a shop you eventually unlock where you can trade SP, so that’ll be valuable even after you get all the skills you want.
I think it'd be cool if there were level milestones which have some special effect, such as level 20 rounding out Iris's skills, or level 50 unlocking some sort of powerful or fun ability that isn't particularly necessary for beating the game.

You don’t have to have sex with women at any point as long as you don’t list women as your preference when you create your character, and there’s a setting to prevent them showing up as customers for prostitution, just turn the “female customers” setting all the way down (to the left).
The game has asynchronous, indirect multiplayer, where you can create a servant in the throne realm and they will visit other players’ games where they can sell items for G and have sex for SP. It’s pretty barebones right now, but I plan to expand it a lot over time.
Unfortunately, when you label a game multiplayer on Itch, there’s no way to indicate it has indirect or async multiplayer, and you have to choose a number of players. I have thought about removing the multiplayer designation, but I think this is a problem with Itch’s classifications and the way I’ve classified my game is the most accurate way possible at this time.
If you go to the lake and bathe there, there’s a chance your clothes will get stolen, if you see this event and Meila has enough “corruption” she’ll stop caring about you trying to leave naked. In the update I plan to add more of these accidental nude events that will unlock public nudity, the one at the lake is just the only one available now.
You can play the online web versions with any mobile browser, or use an app called JoiPlay to play the offline browser version on Android. I don’t plan to create a bespoke Android version at this time.
Is it possible to have group sex in the free web version? If so how can you. Im up to going to the inn in ranbol to find gemma and have not progressed past there.
Group sex content isn’t in the game yet, I think it’s the only thing on the list that isn’t rn. I don’t have it planned for the next update (coming this month) either, but it is planned for relatively soon, probably by the time of the following update.

I have had lots of fun with this game. Loved a lot of the fighting features and combat along with the naughty bits. Also, just to note here, I am blind and use software to read the screen. Most of the features so far (and I am using the free version mind you,) seem to be accessible so far. So you can put blind-friendly on your list for this game if that matters to you :) Thanks for making this and cannot wait to see anything new that gets added later. Also, good luck with any further development for the game as well.
That’s interesting! You were able to deflect too? There are other defensive interactions coming that may make the game less blind-friendly, so I’ll hold off for now, but I can always add a game mode that removes or automates these interactions in some way to keep the game as accessible as possible.

I have never been able to reflect actually. How do you do that? The only thing for fighting I was able to do was the spirit reflecting thing with the Inquisitor fight. I only got it to work the once though. I thought I just couldn't find the place to improve the skill for deflecting attacks with the dagger. How do you actually deflect attacks then? click the mouse at a certain spot or something? I generally just powered through things by leveling up a lot and then learning useful skills and what types of magic worked together. Also, wanted to ask: I finished the inquisitor fight with the grudge weapon but am not sure what to do next. I am currently level 6 and since I'm not sure where to go from here yet I am working on getting all the succubus skills done and getting all the outfits in the game. Was also wondering if the different outfits in the game do anything other than look different and sexy? Like give different stat boosts or anything say for maybe the witch outfit? I also bought the inquisitor design from the seamstress and cannot see it to wear it in the wardrobe at the chapel either. Is this intentional and to be used later or something?
You tap space or click anywhere to deflect, it’s a timed interaction where two circles overlap and you have to interact right when they overlap. You can do it from the start. It sounds like this part wasn’t blind friendly though, but I’m glad the spirit deflection worked.
In the alpha, after you defeat Gemma and the Inquisitor and see the throne realm, that’s pretty much everything.
The outfits are classed based on how revealing they are (normal, sexy, and lewd) but this doesn’t do anything for now, they’re purely cosmetic. The knight and inquisitor outfits are for your throne realm attendant. I believe they’re marked as such, but a lot of people make this mistake, so I may in the future split this off into a separate shop screen.
I will try to deflect attacks and see if it works with that. I have gotten some of the other interactions during battle (like the one with the spirit reflect) so maybe it's possible. Will try it out and let you know. I did the storyline for getting the lunar magic, the bit for killing the inquisitor and getting the sky magic, and then that's as far as I got. Am currently trying to unlock all the stuff under the journal right now. Guessing there's more to be added in the game later though for future updates? I saw a few achievements for things in the journal that implied there would be more so that's why I kept working at things in case there was. Cannot wait to see what the update to the game brings and good luck with developing and fixing any bugs or mistakes :)
It seems like you didn’t fight Gemma yet. If you visit the tavern a few times in the daytime an event will eventually proc starting the quest. There is a lot more planned but I think everything in the journal goals list should be possible to unlock, though a lot of the sex progression stuff is intended to be stuff you unlock over an entire playthrough, so I don’t necessarily recommend grinding it all out.
I think changing the label from (Attendant) to (For Your Attendant) would be enough clarity, I got the Knight one and assumed it was labeled such because it was Gemma’s, the ex-Adjunct
Version 0.0.8a Found out clicking on the HP/MP bar in combat doesn't accurately show the amount you have in the tooltip. I think it only shows the amount you had before the battle starts.
I assume this is on the web version? Unfortunately, each type of browser has different rules for how they manage local data, but if it’s gone, it’s probable gone for good. There is a “save to disk” feature that can allow you to create a portable save file that exists outside of browser storage, but that doesn’t help you get your old save file back.
Since I can’t help you get your file back, here’s some advice for the future. Safari in specific purges local storage roughly every seven days for some unknowable reason, so if you’re using that browser, it’s likely to delete your saved game regularly. On mobile browsers there are strict limits to the amount of space they will allocate to local storage, so they are also unreliable, and you’ll need to save to disk frequently. For most other desktop browsers, saves should persist for months or years, if not indefinitely, as long as you don’t delete them yourself. Various software utilities (anything that deletes “temporary files” or “cleans diskspace”) will likely delete your browser’s data, and of course if you delete your own browsing data in your browser settings, that will also clear the data, so be careful with that sort of thing. Still, it’s a good idea to save to disk if you aren’t planning to play the game for a while.

Note: The server doesn’t really have that much info, so you can’t recover your save via your multiplayer ID. Only your servant’s info is tracked, and records for players that don’t log-in for a while are eventually removed. Of course, in normal circumstances, your record is re-added next time you log-in.
You don’t do alchemy in Hex; everything you’d use potions for in SS is (or will eventually be) done either via spells in exchange for MP, or be stuff you can just do once unlocked.

Yes, I’m currently working on a huge update. I plan to sort of soft-relaunch the game when this update comes out, marking the end of the alpha stage of development.

that is weird. i’ve never seen that. maybe try adjusting the interface scaling setting to be lower, or reduce the font size
does the web version do this for you too? maybe it’s like a very specific screen size that my responsive UI isn’t able to handle…
Yes both joi and website does it, i haven't touched the settings yet since i was afraid of messing the configurations and mess u the game

Did you happen to hit Ctrl at any point? That toggles the text box and it sometimes makes people think the game froze. You have to hit Ctrl again to bring the textbox back and keep playing.
Actually, I should probably make it so that any interaction brings the textbox back. Something to do for next time, I guess.

No. Saves should carry over automatically in every updtae assuming you play on the same system (and in the same browser in case of the web/offline browser versions). If you need to switch browsers or systems you can you the save to/load from disk feature.

Did you go to the village and see the bandits there? The first time you go to the village after claiming the chapel, there’s bandits attacking that you fight off. After you defeat them, this part of the quest is meant to be fulfilled. You may just have to start over, I’ll try to see if there’s a bug on my end.

I do. Things are only in the planning stages right now, but I plan for Iris to be able to give birth to spirits that grant various passive benefits and will live in the throne realm. They’re not going to be like children or anything. Lore-wise they’re lesser demons that are taking the opportunity to incarnate into the material world and fuck around, and they won’t be humanoid or lewdable (though you’ll probably be able to breast feed them).
Like I said, this is still in the planning stages so is subject to change and there’s no ETA, but pregnancy and birth was always something I wanted to expand from what was in SS, I just don’t want to have babies actually be in the game.
Level 6 is the current max, huh? If the cap was higher, it'd be something to do. Farming exp is a classic rpg activity, after all. It'd be funny to play through the story at level 99 because the exp bar was always 100 exp for each level up..
Then again, probably not intended. meh.
There’s an update coming at the end of the month. I believe the cap will be raised to 11. Maximum level in the full game will be 50, but I expect a lower level than that to be sufficient to beat the game assuming you don’t go out of your way to fight.
I am capping the level on a per-update basis just because it makes it easier to balance. That said, I don’t want to artificially limit players forever, and stat upgrades per level are subject to significant diminishing returns past level 20 or so, so once we get to around level 20 as the cap, I’ll probably just set the cap to 50.
After the cap of 50, XP is converted to SP. Like in SS, there’ll be a shop you eventually unlock where you can trade SP, so that’ll be valuable even after you get all the skills you want.
I think it'd be cool if there were level milestones which have some special effect, such as level 20 rounding out Iris's skills, or level 50 unlocking some sort of powerful or fun ability that isn't particularly necessary for beating the game.

How do i get to ranbol?
It’s not in the game yet. There’s an update coming this month that will add Ranbol, among other things.
I don't understand how this game is a multiplayer game... where can I find people?
Is there a way to avoid girls having sex (frankly disgusting)?
You don’t have to have sex with women at any point as long as you don’t list women as your preference when you create your character, and there’s a setting to prevent them showing up as customers for prostitution, just turn the “female customers” setting all the way down (to the left).
The game has asynchronous, indirect multiplayer, where you can create a servant in the throne realm and they will visit other players’ games where they can sell items for G and have sex for SP. It’s pretty barebones right now, but I plan to expand it a lot over time.
Unfortunately, when you label a game multiplayer on Itch, there’s no way to indicate it has indirect or async multiplayer, and you have to choose a number of players. I have thought about removing the multiplayer designation, but I think this is a problem with Itch’s classifications and the way I’ve classified my game is the most accurate way possible at this time.

If you go to the lake and bathe there, there’s a chance your clothes will get stolen, if you see this event and Meila has enough “corruption” she’ll stop caring about you trying to leave naked. In the update I plan to add more of these accidental nude events that will unlock public nudity, the one at the lake is just the only one available now.

You can play the online web versions with any mobile browser, or use an app called JoiPlay to play the offline browser version on Android. I don’t plan to create a bespoke Android version at this time.
Is it possible to have group sex in the free web version? If so how can you. Im up to going to the inn in ranbol to find gemma and have not progressed past there.
Group sex content isn’t in the game yet, I think it’s the only thing on the list that isn’t rn. I don’t have it planned for the next update (coming this month) either, but it is planned for relatively soon, probably by the time of the following update.
Ranbol also isn’t in the game yet, it’ll be in the update later this month, though. If you’ve done all three quests and been to the throne realm, that’s all that’s in the free version right now.

I have had lots of fun with this game. Loved a lot of the fighting features and combat along with the naughty bits. Also, just to note here, I am blind and use software to read the screen. Most of the features so far (and I am using the free version mind you,) seem to be accessible so far. So you can put blind-friendly on your list for this game if that matters to you :) Thanks for making this and cannot wait to see anything new that gets added later. Also, good luck with any further development for the game as well.
That’s interesting! You were able to deflect too? There are other defensive interactions coming that may make the game less blind-friendly, so I’ll hold off for now, but I can always add a game mode that removes or automates these interactions in some way to keep the game as accessible as possible.

I have never been able to reflect actually. How do you do that? The only thing for fighting I was able to do was the spirit reflecting thing with the Inquisitor fight. I only got it to work the once though. I thought I just couldn't find the place to improve the skill for deflecting attacks with the dagger. How do you actually deflect attacks then? click the mouse at a certain spot or something? I generally just powered through things by leveling up a lot and then learning useful skills and what types of magic worked together. Also, wanted to ask: I finished the inquisitor fight with the grudge weapon but am not sure what to do next. I am currently level 6 and since I'm not sure where to go from here yet I am working on getting all the succubus skills done and getting all the outfits in the game. Was also wondering if the different outfits in the game do anything other than look different and sexy? Like give different stat boosts or anything say for maybe the witch outfit? I also bought the inquisitor design from the seamstress and cannot see it to wear it in the wardrobe at the chapel either. Is this intentional and to be used later or something?
You tap space or click anywhere to deflect, it’s a timed interaction where two circles overlap and you have to interact right when they overlap. You can do it from the start. It sounds like this part wasn’t blind friendly though, but I’m glad the spirit deflection worked.
In the alpha, after you defeat Gemma and the Inquisitor and see the throne realm, that’s pretty much everything.
The outfits are classed based on how revealing they are (normal, sexy, and lewd) but this doesn’t do anything for now, they’re purely cosmetic. The knight and inquisitor outfits are for your throne realm attendant. I believe they’re marked as such, but a lot of people make this mistake, so I may in the future split this off into a separate shop screen.
I will try to deflect attacks and see if it works with that. I have gotten some of the other interactions during battle (like the one with the spirit reflect) so maybe it's possible. Will try it out and let you know. I did the storyline for getting the lunar magic, the bit for killing the inquisitor and getting the sky magic, and then that's as far as I got. Am currently trying to unlock all the stuff under the journal right now. Guessing there's more to be added in the game later though for future updates? I saw a few achievements for things in the journal that implied there would be more so that's why I kept working at things in case there was. Cannot wait to see what the update to the game brings and good luck with developing and fixing any bugs or mistakes :)
It seems like you didn’t fight Gemma yet. If you visit the tavern a few times in the daytime an event will eventually proc starting the quest. There is a lot more planned but I think everything in the journal goals list should be possible to unlock, though a lot of the sex progression stuff is intended to be stuff you unlock over an entire playthrough, so I don’t necessarily recommend grinding it all out.
I think changing the label from (Attendant) to (For Your Attendant) would be enough clarity, I got the Knight one and assumed it was labeled such because it was Gemma’s, the ex-Adjunct

i lost my save, is there any way to recover it? I have my player id, but my saves are gone
I assume this is on the web version? Unfortunately, each type of browser has different rules for how they manage local data, but if it’s gone, it’s probable gone for good. There is a “save to disk” feature that can allow you to create a portable save file that exists outside of browser storage, but that doesn’t help you get your old save file back.
Since I can’t help you get your file back, here’s some advice for the future. Safari in specific purges local storage roughly every seven days for some unknowable reason, so if you’re using that browser, it’s likely to delete your saved game regularly. On mobile browsers there are strict limits to the amount of space they will allocate to local storage, so they are also unreliable, and you’ll need to save to disk frequently. For most other desktop browsers, saves should persist for months or years, if not indefinitely, as long as you don’t delete them yourself. Various software utilities (anything that deletes “temporary files” or “cleans diskspace”) will likely delete your browser’s data, and of course if you delete your own browsing data in your browser settings, that will also clear the data, so be careful with that sort of thing. Still, it’s a good idea to save to disk if you aren’t planning to play the game for a while.

Note: The server doesn’t really have that much info, so you can’t recover your save via your multiplayer ID. Only your servant’s info is tracked, and records for players that don’t log-in for a while are eventually removed. Of course, in normal circumstances, your record is re-added next time you log-in.

You don’t do alchemy in Hex; everything you’d use potions for in SS is (or will eventually be) done either via spells in exchange for MP, or be stuff you can just do once unlocked.
